Pic includes a 9mm casing. The case mouth inside is larger that a 357 but smaller than a 40 bullet. No caliber markings.

How big would a 7.62x25 bullet be to a 9mm?

7.62 is roughly 30 or .308. the 9mm is roughly .357 or .356. If that's what you're talking about.

The actual measurements are different, but what we call 7.62 is 30 cal or .308. What we call 9mm is (I will have to go measure a bullet which I'm too lazy to do right now) roughly the same as 38 Spl and 357 Mag bullets which could be 356-358.

So, perhaps with a little clearer picture of the headstamp, .... but I think BillM wins the chicken dinner on this one.

Yeah i think Bill is right too. A 357 bullet is to sloppy in the case mouth. A 40 almost fits.

the ones I’m using are .357 for 38 special/357 mag and .356 for 380/9mm. .356 will push right down inside a 38 special case with your finger after resizing the case, without even flaring it.

I only know this because I loaded some 100gr 380 bullets in a 357 mag case to see how fast I could push one out of a 20” barrel. It goes really fast, lol tricky loading them too.
