"The man was conscious, alert, talking with deputies and in good spirits before he was taken by Seguin EMS to San Antonio Military Medical Center."

I kinda doubt that.

Maybe the Seguin EMS loaded him up on the happy juice that comes in a syringe???

I suspect the ("ball blasted out of the ballpark" gun owner's) holster was nearly worn out, deformed and should have been replaced many weeks ago.

Good thing it wasn't a .45 or he might have really lost all his junk.
How would you like to be the guy who had to stop the bleeding?
reminded me of the old Lone Ranger and Tonto joke when the LR got bit by a rattler on his johnson
LR wanted Tonto to suck the venom out. Tonto said he was going to die.
