So im thinking about getting a magnifyer for my bushmaster ar-15 I have a eotech red dot sight on it and was leaning towards the magnifyer of the same brand but wanted to see if anyone knew of any other good ones that don't cost as much.

The Vortex magnifier VMX 3T wouldn't be so costly. I have one with the Vortex flip to side mount and it works fine. Sightmark has one even less expensive than the Vortex. I'd suggest getting one that can be moved out of the way of the red dot for when you don't want magnification. Take a look at Opticsplanet.com. They have some really good prices.

Thanks ill have to check those out and that's exactly what im looking for something i can flip to the side when its not needed. Ill spend money on good quality parts but i don't know just can't get into spending that much on a magnifier seeing as how they all do the exact same thing

I went with the EoTech G33 magnifier on my R-25 in 243 because I prefer not to mix and match optical components.
