In New Jersey we have a ten round magazine capacity law. I have a Ruger P85 that ive had since 1987. While I’m not a fan of the 9mm or the P85 for that matter, I own it and I’m going to keep it. It came with 2-15 round mags and I bought a few more over the years. I’ve decided to get a few blocks to make them 10 rounds. Ugh. The law went into effect two years ago and NO magazines have been turned in to the police. I figured better safe than sorry. I bought 4-15 round AR mags about two months before the new capacity law. I’m not converting those as they were lost in a tragic boating accident. Has anyone had any experience with the blocks?

Just and FYI, here in NY they usually epoxy them into the mag body so they can't easily be converted. Not sure how your state laws are written but it might be worth a look.
