I had good results with Carlson chokes and Remington #6 field loads.

When you switch ammo, your patterns could change.

If your Mossberg is not centered...

Get it shimmed or the stock fitted so your pattern is on.

Mine was high and right enough anything going left, i always missed.

Going right, I only got it if it was rising...

Was a very frustrating first couple hunts til the misses hurt enough that I patterned it.

Speed, those are really helpful links. I forgot what a pain it was finding choked..

Since that learning, I’ve bought a CG and two Benelli’s including one from the Benelli performance shop. Pricey, but wow! When I take new shooters out, they always figure out quickly which of the three are dreams to shoot (all of them, the the perfshop wins)
