I've seen guns that look like a 5.56 pistol, but are 9mm. Do these guns have any advantage? Would the longer barrel add any significant benefit?

Longer barrel will give some more velocity. The longer site distance makes it easier for aiming. Longer barrels are generally more accurate at further distances. Only disadvantage i can think of is concealment when carrying.

I’m used to carrying around a longer barrel; but yes, at times it is hard to conceal.

At times people will ask if I am happy to see them and I reply no, I’m carrying a gun.

I have an AR Pistol in 9 mm. I use it for suppressors.

I haven’t tested it for distance but it will allow you to shoot further than a handgun.

For concealment I have an SBA Tactical SBA3 Pistol Brace and a Law Tactical Folding Adapter.
