Pull up www.jouster.com and go the Lee Enfield Forum, some really smart peoples there..

I have a Number 4 Savage, quite accurate for an Enfield. Mine kicks like a mule when I use Remington ammunition, but not so bad with the Greek surplus.

Enfields?

Good guns. I have a touch of the fever and own a "fake" #4 carbine that is a great shooter. Always looking to pick-up a cheap, well done sporter.......check Auction Arms or Gun Broker.

They are older, less refined bolt action rifles good for all-around hunting on a budget. Not a deer hunter but I kill wild hogs and destroy coyotes with it.

I don't think you'll regret a good one at reasonable price.....
