Nice, PSA can get the ole pocketbook drained pretty quick.
Ha Ha, did you notice the disclaimer on the ad? Lead poisoning warning in California.

I don't read anything with the word California in it... Not worth the time 🙂

Nice! What sorta optic you planning on for “long range plinking?”

There's a long distance range not too far from me
Sureshot Range & Guns - Mt Auburn, IA
I have scopes that range from 12 power, 18 power and 24 power on a variety of guns... Leupold, VISM and Sightmark brands

I'll probably take something off another gun and see what works best
Grats! My AR-15 was PSA, fine rifle, no issues. Next year I may get another one, sorry I let it go. All I did really is trade it for a Kahr P380, not a fair trade, but I'm an idiot.
We have a range not too far from me that has 750 yard range, but is only accessible twice a month. It is a private, member’s only range. It would be great to have a 600 yard range within a reasonable distance.
His range is now out to 800 yds

I'm not that good, yet...
The CEO of PSA stated his sole purpose in life is to provide as many quality, low priced black rifles, for citizens, as he possibly can before he dies, so gun control will forever be meaningless. I can get behind any company or product with a mentality like that.

Wish you great fun shooting your new buddy!

Have a good cigar and regards

I can ring steel (4’x4’) at 750 yds, but my shots are scattered. I am using a 6.5 Creedmore with 6.5-20 Vortex Viper. There is a guy here who shoots better with his open sight Garand...good rifleman! He is a pretty humble guy too. I seldom get to try shooting at that distance, would like to do more.

Practice. Remember to get the same cheek weld every time. And use the same ammo, don't switch off.

Ammo is consistent, but I am unable to practice as much as I would like...and my eyes aren’t what they used to be. Best I have managed is 9” group of five shots at 750. Rifle and ammo make one jagged hold at 100. Cataracts do not help my aim. :frown:

Here it is... Just arrived

5.5 lb trigger pull (per my cheap spring loaded wheeler gauge)

18" stainless barrel, aluminum forged lower, nice feeling overmolded rubber grip, 15" keymod handguard, click-adjustable gas block (I'll eventually suppress this rifle)

Very happy with fit and finish... All for $749 plus tax and $20 xfer fee

Now for optic and bipod

Bought a 6x24x50 Vortex and some very high rings ... We'll see

I have some leupold, vism, sightmark scopes... Decided to give this $300 Vortex (made in usa) a try... Never had one- arrives today
