Hi there!

I'm not new to firearms, but I am just now getting into them as a passionate hobby. I just bought a Springfield M1 Garand dated Dec '42, and I'm currently working on restoring my Dad's M91 Carcano that probably hasn't been fired in 90 years. I'm amazed at how much I'm enjoying restoring this old piece of history.

I'm really hoping to build a nice collection of guns, and possibly even design and make a few myself for fun once I get an FFL.

My holy grail of guns that I dream to one day own is the CZ 75 Short rail, aka Pre-B CZ 75, aka CZ 75 first version. One day I'll track one down and it'll be the centerpiece of my collection.

Here it is.

there's not much to tell for a story. My local shop posted that they got two in on Facebook. I called immediately and one had already sold, so they put the other aside for me. I think it's an original leather strap too. It has a small crack in the stock that is barely noticeable and won't affect performance. She's a beauty for the first gun I've ever bought!
