I chose Captain38 as my handle because that was my rank and badge number at the time of my retirement from law enforcement. I've been posting on several other forums for quite a while and always use the same moniker.

I'm a graduate of the FBINA, a former firearms instructor at various levels and continue be interested in both shooting and police subjects.
