One of the greatest things you will learn about Guns is not to take them apart if you don’t know how to put them back together. You learn how to put them back together in many ways, taking them apart is one of them.

Old guns are sometimes hard to find replacement parts for. I usually don’t take them apart unless something is broken.

I have some guns that won’t function properly if they are squeaky clean.

Yep, that's how my dads brother learned it ha ha

So I'm sure I wont to shoot it now, the chamber is safe, the wood will hold, its mechanically holding together, so my only question is how to identify a lamented steel barrel and if this old girl has one, and if not, I'll shoot it till I'm 90.
