I need to know how people here feel about TheHighroad.org. i just got banned from there for simply having an opinion that differed from the mods and i dont need that kind if drama here. I just want to be able to talk with other adults about firearms and shoot the breeze.

That's the thing I don't know. I personally carry a revolver for both open carry and concealed carry so maybe that was it.

I OC a revolver when im in the woods. In public i CC a semi-auto. How and what you carry is your choice.

Honestly I'm glad for that. I was only on TheHighroad for two to three days before they banned me and I have never been banned from a website before then. I don't go on to cause drama, I'd much rather have an enlightening conversation and on occasion I have gotten into a heated debate or two but even then we just agreed to disagree. I mean it's just stupid that there sight is so full of elitist idiots.

Sorry if this post violates any rules but I kind of have to vent a little bit. I literally just wanted to talk to some like minded gun enthusiasts but nope, just had to run into the Gun Nazis. And yes that's what they acted like.

I was banned from Gun and Game for the horrible crime of joining right after a troll got banned.
This is a good one. You may not agree, but for the most part they are still civil and nice folks.

Unfortunately, Cultural Marxism, which goes under the mass media's misnomer of 'political correctness,' has entered into every facet of the American Sheoples' mindset.

I am not saying that's why you were banned, but this asinine paradigm of everyone should get along, think the same, act the same, and believe the same or keep their mouths shut or get arrested, or banned, or crucified by the socialistic media is in reality a fairy tale.

Honestly I don't intend to. I just didn't want to deal with that happening again here. But seeing as I don't have to worry about that feel free to ask me anything that comes to mind and I'll gladly answer it as best as I can.

The Highroad? Ya, been there. This was sometime ago (long LONG time) so I don't know how it is now.

There were some good people there, friendly and knowledgeable too. I do hope things have changed there (I'm sure it must've), not just saying it either.

Besides this, welcome to The National Gun Forum! No insulting or name calling other people here in anger, follow the rules or standards set in place, and kick up your feet n just be yourself.

We frown on people coming here solely to bash companies and other forums, so please try and not go down that route. Trolls and d/cks when we find them will be dealt with soon enough. Enjoy!

I am on THR and TFL; of those two, I prefer THR; both of those do not tolerate any deviation from gun talk, so no politics, no funnies, no drive-by posts. Now in comparison to here, or the non-blue S&W Forum, THR is really strict; here politics, some joking around with memes, etc. is tolerated.
