Pretty pistol. The grips are especially interesting.

I'd guess it dates to pre-WWII. I say this because most all post war engraved Llama pistols have plastic Mother of Pearl grips.

It might be pre ww2 because it belonged to my grandad and he had a collection of old guns i found information on the others online but nothing on this llama everything was soo confusing about llamas

llama 1911 9mm parabellum
Three vent first series starting in 1955 and being made thru 1970.
Model E-IXA two vent rib second series which started in 1970. The E is for engraved . I think the deep relief engraving was discontinued at this time because it does not show up in my catalog.

The lines and markings on the one posted here appear poor, the script is odd and the external extractor is missing
