I was sent to a YMCA camp when I was 11. We shot single-shot, bolt-action Winchester rifles that you'd have to cock each time by pulling the knob on the back of the bolt. We'd get 10 shots free and could buy extras for a penny each. I gave up soda and chips so I'd have the money.

I guess I have an addictive personality. That's all it took to get me hooked.
