I have a 1903 Springfield that I need some help identifying markings. I'm not sure what the 0 and the X that are stamped into the wood man. I think this was a Greek return rifle, but I'm not sure. Barrel date matches the serial number batch on the receiver of 10-23.

Any help figuring out the 2 markings would be appreciated

Barrel made at the Springfield Armory in October of 1923.

Nice 1903 Springfield. I don't know what the stock markings are.

Those marks indicate that you should send it to me, Stamps and I’ll see to it that it gets a good home. I just want to help out where I can.
I appreciate your willingness to help. Please pay the shipping fee of $1500 and I'll send it right over

Heavy, but righteous, postage on that rifle.
I had someone ask me about the markings on it and I had no clue. What better place to ask?
