You're welcome. I ran my SBH too. 7.5 in barrel. With 240 grain cast SWC. 10 grains of unique. They were trucking along at 1200 fps. I had 2 different lengths listed in my book. I loaded them at the longer one. 1.710. The other length was 1.60. The bullet pictured with the longer COAL looked like what i have.

Tested my loads today. Ran a cylinder through at some cans 1st. To be sure they were accurate enough i wouldn't shoot my chrono. The 1st ones i ran. Where what i loaded with 6 grains of unique. the numbers are 1044,1069,1063,1057 ,1060. and 1058.

The green dot loads at 5 grains were 908,897,933,958,898 and 913.
Very mild recoil too. So i have some room.
Please don't believe light recoil necessarily means you "have room." Your chrono will help but keep your eyes peeled for high pressure signs.

Yeppers i checked the brass and primers over good. Also used nickle case since they seam to fail before brass. And the ruger frame is almost twice as hefty as my taurus. Some googled up pics lol.
