I love old westerns. GRIT TV has some good ones, some I have never heard of, just wish they would not repeat them all the time.
There have been some good modern westerns made and I wish hollywood would make more.
Silverado
Tombstone. Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday was awesome. I'm your huckleberry!
Lonesome Dove series
Quigley Down Under

I like most of Wayne's and Eastwood's; along with a few others. Some of the older ones could be a little campy - most likely due to the censors of the day

Anything John Wayne. So special because it was really him. He just played himself.
Worked with a painter who had contracted to paint John Wayne's house in Balboa. Said he was great to work for. Funny as can be.

If you can find it, you might like 'Hell on Wheels'. It's a TV series about the construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad.

Any western without Sam Elliot.

Our TV is on INSP or GetTV most of the time. I don't watch stressful TV very often.

There's two versions of The Quick & The Dead-the one with Gene Hackman and Sharon Stone is particularly good.
The Unforgiven
El Dorado
Silverado

The new Lone Ranger- with Johnny Depp as Tonto. Silver is hilarious. Funniest horse ever.

John Wayne was sitting at a table with Mel Brooks.
John said: "I heard you were making a western where they say blow it out your ass."
Mel says: Yes. Would you like to be in it?
John: No I can't be in a movie like that. But I'll be the first to go see it.
