I have never seen this ammo in any of the gun stores that I visit. Its got a Polymer Ball Capped in the hollowpoint cavity and its made by Glaser. Website http://www.safetyslug.com.

Have you ever used this ammo before? They claim a lower recoil but high velocity! Thats a bit strange, since to get high velocity you have to pump up the powder to spin the bullet faster. Any thoughts about this ammo?

I've got a couple of boxes of it in .40. I've shot about 100 rounds of it so far and think its pretty good stuff. It shoots great in my CZ 40P. But I do usually carry Hydra-shocks when out and about.

I've shot some of the 165 gr stuff out of a Kimber Ultra CDP. It expanded nicely, something 230 gr Gold Dot won't do out of a 3" barrel, and recoil was quit managable.

I plan on doing more testing before it becomes my "for real" ammunition in this pistol.

Maybe its more of an indoors type round. Don't really know much about it.
