Actually, not sure HOW old. But he needed a good home. As any good falling block should.

Wood Floor Air gun Tints and shades Flooring

Automotive tire Gas Bicycle part Tints and shades Automotive wheel system

Looks like someone had it as a truck gun for around a ranch. Previous owner never shot it, just kept it in his safe after getting it from a neighbor who also probably never shot it. I think it will be fantastic for teaching new shooters.

Also in need of a good, thorough cleaning around the top of the receiver.

I'm looking forward to banging away at some targets with it!

Nice. Didn't someone else recently post about one of these? It's a single shot right and the tube is just for show?

That rings a bell and yes, the tube is just for show.

As long as it goes bang, it obviously ain't TOO old. Hope it brings a smile to your face.
Exactly! I'll get it out to the range as soon as possible and let everyone know!

I have several old guns with differing levels of abuse that I bought just because the looked cool. All but 1 have turned out to be hidden gems. That 1 is an old semi that will only feed if hand cycled. I still plan on tearing it down one day to see why.
An old wood and steel gun has history written all over it. Stories to tell even if you can't hear them. Plastic ones just look like beat up plastic.

Nice. BTW, in that condition, $250 is a fair and reasonable price.

I have an Aussie saddle on a stand in the living room. It would look very cool in the scabbard so it you ever want to get rid of it...
If I shoot it and hate it AND if my wife shoots it and hates it, it's yours!

Hmm...61...these were introduced in 1961. I was 25 years old at that time.
There's a possibility that they didn't start serializing them until 1968 but it's not crystal clear how that was done by the company. The serial # is 127XXX.

It's not a flintlock. :ROFLMAO:
Okay, bite me. LOL

Single shots never bothered me much. I have at least three others in the safe and enjoy them all. They make for great teaching rifles and they seem to be more accurate than mag-fed.

I have high hopes for this one. I'm hoping I'm not delusional about it!
