So I was over at glockworld

Looking to buy something and they said I needed to choose a FFL.

Googled it.

Federal Firearms License

So I need to go and get a license ? Or will it be sent to business with a FFL?

I've never bought a gun on the internet before

I wanted to get an old Rifle and refurbish it

In order to buy a gun by mail-order (such as over the Internet), you must have the gun shipped to someone that holds a federal firearms license, so they can run a NICS check on you, and have you fill out the 4473 form so big brother can keep track of what guns you own (sorry, letting my political views show through). You can't have it shipped to your house.

Just about any gun store will act as your FFL in a mail order purchase, but since they are more interested in selling guns to you themselves, they usually charge a pretty stiff rate. There are other FFL holders that specialize in receiving guns for mail order purchases that generally charge much lower rates to do so. I believe gunrnr is one of those, in fact.

A quick google search should help you find a listing of such FFLs in your area.
