mine is the 1886 colt thunderer in 45 long colt

my granddad has one of a very few that were issued to the canadian mounts that never got returned.

I love to go to the range where people are shooting .22's and 9's. They all stop shooting to see what the #*ll is making all that noise! After a couple dozen rounds from the .44 my XD .40 is like shooting a popgun.

I've got 1911's from Kimber, Colt, and Para-ord. I dont discriminate in manufacturers. As long as they function, I dont care. I really like the looks of the Sig Saur line, and the S/W pistols are probably nice too. My first handgun was a 1911, and I keep buying them. I like good machine work and nice sights.
