What was that flying out the window? Oh, Fauci's credibility.

I don't get the responses here. I am not defending Fauci at all, but I think we should be able to do just about anything with precautions NOW. I am in an at risk category, but I'll do early voting at the elections office and not worry about it at all. I don't know why anyone would be questioning that we might not be able to vote in person.

I refuse to vote by mail or via absentee, there has been to many cases of ballots "lost" or not accepted because the "signature was not correct" here in my state, to risk otherwise.
I am in the high risk category, my dauthers, together with my wife have me in a golden cage, I am not supposed to got the local Home Depot or anywhere else, I went to my doctor yesterday and the forced me to wear the mask, given rubber gloves, told not to touch my face, and, after I went back home, I was told to get a shower and change clothes.
However, I draw the line at voting, it is my full intention to go to vote in person.

I always vote in person and will do so this year as well as long as the dems don't somehow outlaw it. I get why they are pushing the mass mail in voting but anyone who wants to vote by mail can simply request a ballot. it's a simple solution for a problem they are trying to complicate. Like friendsof2nd said above typically even absentee ballots have their share of mishaps which is why i won't vote that way but certainly would not encourage anyone who is fearful to not vote by absentee ballot.
If we do get some sort of mass mail ballots here in NY i am real curious to see if i get some extras. My house has an apt attached to it and there have been several members of my wife's family who have lived there in the past. Her brother and his wife who built it and then my wife's nephew and his wife who lived there for a few years. Her brother still lives in the area and her nephew lives near Atlanta GA. Not sure if they were registered to vote at his address or not but will certainly post here and on social media if i get any ballots other than mine. or my wife's.

Today, we had a primary election, so, as I stated, I went in person to the voting location and voted on a straight Republican vote. I did wear a mask and even put gloves on.
When November 3rd rolls around, again is my intend to go in person and vote, and obviously will vote against those politicians who want to turn the USA into an extreme Socialist third world banana republic.

I too would be curious to see how the mass mailing of ballots would work. Hell, I even received THREE separate requests to fill out the census due to slight differences in my mailing address that has occurred over time.

I friend of mine posted on FB that his aunt and uncle who live in NH both received their mail in ballots which is great except his uncle has been dead for 11 years. Yes i asked him who he's voting for....

I have always voted in-person (early voting)because I like getting the "I voted" sticker.:)
This year, I may take my ballot to the Superintendent of Elections office.

I vote in person and put my ballot in the machine that counts it. In this way, I am fairly sure that my vote is counted.
That, assuming that the machines have not been compromised, which happened some time ago when we had a older computerized system.
At that time, it was found the the machine counted all Republican votes as DemocRAT votes. Why is it that, when there is a voting irregularity, the bad votes are ususally for the DemocRATs? The problem was found before all votes were counted.
