looking for information on a W.M. MOORE & CO 12 GA SIDE BY SIDE DAMASCUS BARREL SHOTGUN MANUFACTURED IN 1852 to 1874 WITH A 26 INCH BARRELS AND OVERALL LENGTH OF 42 11/16 INCHES HAS ENGLISH ROYAL CROWN AND HATCHETS ON LOCKING LUGS. IT IS TOP LEVER UNLOCKING. ANY INFORMATION IS GRAETLY APPRECIATED.

I don't think it was manufactured in 1836. Sounds like you're describing a break action shotgun and the shotgun cartridge wasn't invented until the 1860's. Prior to that they were muzzle loaders.

Looks like a nice piece of history. Essentially useless as a shooter but a very nice "wall hanger". Probably worth 2 or 3 hundred.

Black Powder I`d bet Nice find seen/heard $900 to $1400 Wm Moore an English co I`d research to tell you the truth I`d give ya $200 unseen as is. Then flip it for $500 but ya know NO ONE has ever taken advantage of anyone in that manner NO!!!!
