Donald Trump: 'Liberate Virginia,' Save the 2nd Amendment

With Americans growing weary of perceived state government overreach, President Trump is standing with Virginians, calling them to liberate their state and save the Second Amendment.

He tweeted:
LIBERATE VIRGINIA, and save your great 2nd Amendment. It is under siege!

Trump’s tweet comes just days after Governor Ralph Northam (D) made clear he was keeping Virginians at home this week and almost a week after he signed now gun controls, aimed at limiting the number of guns law-abiding Virginians can purchase in a given month.

WHSV reports that Northam extended business closures, encouraging Virginians to get used what he called “the new normal.” Breitbart News reported that Northam signed new gun controls April 10, 2020, limiting the number of guns law-abiding Virginians can buy each month and outlawing private gun sales.

Trump’s tweet comes a day after as Michigan residents caused gridlock as they flooded into Lansing, Michigan, to protest Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s (D) continued stay-at-home order. Vox reports that those protesting the Whitmer’s order are referring to their movement as, “Operation Gridlock.”

He Virginia gun owners have been very active in fighting for their rights. It’s fallen on deaf ears. Their Governor has even locked down the state till the day after the primaries! How is this not being fought in the courts? I do realize that these courts take time but they should be able to get an injunction against the governor and his cronies until the courts can hear this issue. The Fed May have to step in here and perhaps the SCOTUS should actually do their job.

Is not being fought in the courts because it cost a lot of money and time, and the DemocRATS know this. Not every one has the deep pockets and the time to fight city hall.

The oppression and elimination of our rights and freedoms of choice is made most successfully at State Government levels, and by those we - as constituents - are closest to. Virginia is in the spot-light because the governor has gone nuts and fancies himself a tyrant, as has the governor of Michigan. Most all other states DEMOCRAT governors are wondering if they should declare themselves as "ultimate authority" in their respective states.

Wait until the various states voters get a load of these Mooks in crowns of laurel wreaths and toga robes..
