Any of those cute single shot H & R shotguns or rifles? They are fun to shoot but don't have a lot of meat to absorb the kick of a large calber, like a 12 guage. I shot a 20 guage today and it was easy to handle and could be a good rabbit or quail hunting weapon.

Do you own H & R shotguns or rifles?

My first gun was a H and R .410. I have owned them in 16 and 12 and 20 gauges as well as a couple New England Handi-rifles in .223 and 30/30. Right now, don't own a one. But, they are good, solid, dependable guns, in my experience. And made in the USA.

I have an H&R Topper Deluxe Classic that I am very proud of. It is a 12 ga, and very light. The kick isn't that bad. I think as much of it as I do my others.

My first SG was a Topper .410. I thought I was realllly hot stuff when I got a 12 ga to replace it at age 16 or so.
