I carry a semi auto right now. I tend to switch back in fourth quite frequently though.

I been carrying my M-36 more since I got that slide belt holster over at the Gun Store. You don't even notice it after about 5 minutes.

Come on its 2007.... I believe only the old timers still consider wheel guns for daily carry. No problem with doing so I just don't believe too many of the younger generation are familiar with revolvers.

is it more practical to carry a semi. If a revolver is bulky and something like a 1911 is thin enough and light enough for every day carry why carry a revolver anyway. A semi can do anything a revolver can do bullet wise and more often. Yeah if you aren't used to them they can be a little more difficult to operate but if I am going to be carrying a gun I am going to make sure I can use it. I understand the nostalgia about a revolver but is that all it is?

I go with semi-auto. Usually a 1911 in one form or another. Rarely, I carry a Beretta 92 or 96. When I want to go small, it is a Browning High Power.

I carry an auto - Glock 26 - with Seecamp .32 as backup.

I also have a "revolver" of sorts, an NAA mini .22mag. Photo follows. I carry this in my shorts when I'm knocking around the yard, driving trash to the dumster in my Yerf Dog (looks like a KJ Mule) or running to the convenience store down the road for beer. It's a 5 shot, the first up is birdshot, good for snakes, the rest are hollow points that are good for two legged snakes. It is amazingly accurate up to 15', enough for emergency self defense. The holster is by Guru, IMHO he makes the highest quality wallet style holsters.

Then you will understand why I prefer my XD and M1911 A1. :lol:

For the record, I do own a .32 Colt Police.

I will carry my Kel-tec 380 usually, plus a small folding knife. In the woods I will pack a 45 auto or something that will discourge a cougar attack! The 380 just makes them really mad.
