I guess in the much lauded Australian mandatory buy back or criminal charges sort of way.

Just a curious thought I had. Forgive my inanity.

If Dems get the house, senate, and white house yea it will be in just a few years. They plan on packing SCOTUS to get the rulings they want.

it's currently up to us. Our vote in this next election will determine the outcomes we face for generations to come.

The Dems can do whatever they want, that doesn't mean the citizens will comply with their commands. And if the Dems push too far, they will ignite a civil war that they can't win.

If New Zealand has taught us anything, hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions might not comply.

I just hope the ink is never wasted on unconstitutional laws.

No, I do not think you will see it. I think the NRA does a good job at protecting them. We must keep the Supreme Court right leaning though....

Robert Francis O’Rourke announced over the weekend that if he is elected president, he intends to confiscate tens of millions of semi-automatic firearms from law-abiding Americans.

Reporter: How do you address fears that the government is going to confiscate people’s semi-auto firearms?

O’Rourke: “I want to be really clear, that’s exactly what we are going to do. Americans who own semi-automatic firearms will have to sell them to the government.”

I think gun companies making .22s and BB guns look like AR-15s is not helping matters.

NRA is not our friend and never was.
Absolutely ALL bans and restrictions, starting with NFA, were blessed by NRA.

Excuse me officer, what guns are you taking about? oh, the ones I lost in my boating accident last year?
Excuse me officer, what guns are you taking about? oh, the ones I lost in my boating accident last year?
Will you be able to practice with your “lost” guns after that?
Will you have the quick access to them for the purpose of home/self defense?
There will be so many snitches around due to very intolerant environment and penalties will be so severe, then most of Americans will turn their guns in voluntarily.
And those who refused will be pronounced the public enemies.
Get ready to be reported by your coworker, neighbor, roommate, spouse or child.

I think the penalty for lying to the police in the performance of their duties is 20 years. While it's a fun thing to say on the Internet, it's not going to work. I assume you've read Sundown at Coffin Rock. I read it's very first release, in the Dillon Magazine, that came with my long-lost Dillon press. The link is to the book by the original author with a couple of sequels and other stories. Readers can also google the title and find it posted in about a billion places on the Internet.

I clicked the like button because I like that you stated the truth but I hate that you're right and that it is the truth.

In Calif. AR-15 are pretty useless without some major modifications. It won't be long before that is the law across the US I'll give them a year before they are scrap.
Bump stocks were banned, backed by serious prison time, and yet not a single one was turned in to the govt. No one has been charged with possessing one either.

Every gun shop I've ever bought from only keeps paper records. It will require an army to go through the paper work alone before they try to confiscate anything.

As for this poll, shouldn't it include the word "again" somewhere.
