I don't know if any of you happened to see any of the Floyd funeral. I was just tuning to Fox News and it was on. On the lower part of the screen was a picture of Floyd with a halo over his head. Talk about the quintessence of hyperbole! That takes the cake!

"Is the media controlling and setting the narrative?"

Yes, and that is one of the bigger problems we, conservatives, faces, the MSM, for the most part, is controlled by the left, and such media keep pushing the socialist agenda. If you do not look at the few channels that are more to the right ( such as Fox News ), you would never realize that with socialists we are looking at a destruction of our way of life, and the losing of our rights.

Educations do not come from universities and other schools.

Maybe we’re wrong. Maybe the better educated liberals are correct. I feel like some kind of Neanderthal with my attitudes about how the world is going. Are we wrong on Trump? Are we wrong on our world views? I have 3 college educated kids who all think that Trump is the absolute worst. Even my son who’s a libertarian says he’s not going to vote for Trump. This is not how they were raised, or was it? Did I allow them too much freedom to make they’re own decisions? Are they getting the correct information now? Is the media controlling and setting the narrative? I can’t talk to them because they spout the “facts” like they were programmed and won’t believe any other opinion or facts.
Its not that they were programmed to believe only certain facts, its that a 'fact' by its nature doesn't have multiple versions, its either true or false. Maybe when you have conflicting ideas with your kids you could all compare your sources, try to understand where the differences in the train of thought occurred, and think it through from beginning to end. If you are talking facts and critical thinking then your gut feelings don't matter, anecdotes don't matter, your lived experiences, fears and biases don't matter. The most important thing anyone can do right now is keep an open mind and be accepting of the idea that they might be wrong. Both parties need to understand that being wrong doesn't make you dumb or evil, and the only dumb thing you can do right now is see the right answer and deny it based on prejudice or fear. Anyone who truly cares about their country will do everything they can to understand why their fellow countrymen are so at odds with one another. Drawing lines in the sand, picking sides and calling each other names does nothing to improve the situation and diminishes our country.

" 3 college educated kids" right there is the reason, they have been taught to be good little socialists (communists) for their whole life by socialist teachers. This has been going on for years, the slow infiltrating of the education system, the courts, the government, the media. The Marxist know the only way to change America into the ideal Marxist utopia was from the inside. This vote in Nov. may be the tipping point where it happens, decades of hard work may finally pay of and America will be end being the last holdout for the new world order Marx dreamed about.

Elaborate on the ideal Marxist utopia? I must have missed that course.

Posts you have made in other threads show that, like Sleepy Joe, you seem to believe more in (your) truth than in facts.
The truth is, there is less racism in this country today than there has ever been. But there are those, on the far right and especially on the left, that have a vested interest in perpetuating racism. Without it, they lose all relevance. As well as a lot of income. Especially income.

In dealing with politics and my 3 college educated kids, I do name my sources but they are so brainwashed that none of my sources, in their minds are reliable. The media is so polluted with the liberial cause and reliable news outlets are so maligned by the left that any opposing source is labeled fake news. Of the three, one is a bleeding heart lib ( youngest 23 ) one is middle left of center ( 29 ) and one is strong libertarian (31 ). So besides the libertarian, we don’t talk politics.

I didn't know where I should post this, so I will leave it here.

So... RAZ from the CHAZ in Seattle isn't just RAZ...

<<questionable link deleted by Wag>>

Quote:
"Raz somehow received a grant for $82,000 from the city of Seattle to open his own studio in a building he purchased with another loan.

And Raz owns multiple luxury cars, including a Tesla, a BMW and a Jaguar XJ.

He also owns some prime real estate and rental properties.

He owns the RAZ fashion line, the Aurora Smoke Shop, a social club called “The Spot”, the Black Umbrella Corporation. All this came from funding in sweetheart deals.

Raz’s public relations team has done a lot of work to portray Raz as a gangsta’. Oliver Darcy from CNN has helped him in shaping his image.

Finally, and most importantly, Raz is connected to Islamists. He is involved in the manifesto, Washington State – the first black Muslim independent state. He also is being sponsored and has been hosted by the Dubai government. Raz’s anti-white and anti-America rants are supported. He also has been spotted attending the Sheik Zayed mosque."

And a movie star...

Your source for this is highly questionable. Please get better sources.
