I've been having an issue with one of my Power Line 856s. When pulling the trigger it's as if it catches on something, sometimes it will shoot and sometimes it will have the issue where it catches, when it actually shoots it takes quite a bit of effort and you can hear it coming off of whatever it catches on badly. Not sure if I explained the issue very well, any help would be appreciated and if you need more information just ask.

It sounds as if you have a trigger to sear mating problem.

How old is the gun?

Take it to a gunsmith and have him examine it.

The problem may require a simple/inexpensive fix. It may cost more to fix than the gun is worth.

I've had two Daisy Powerline 880's with the push-button safety. I'm not sure how the 856 Model is configured, but a dirty or worn safety/trigger interface may be all that troubles you.
