I just read this… wow

The NYPD recorded 2,381 gun arrests so far this year (through June)… Only approximately 20% of all gun arrestees are incarcerated today.

How/why do the residents of NYC put up with the corrupt DAs and Judges who release these criminals?

It's not just NY, here in Jersey we have the same "progressive" mindset led by Mickey Mouse Murphy & his ilk. No-bail release, sanctuary by local and state resolutions, and every attempt to legislate or financially make legal gun ownership as difficult as possible. We came within a hair of deposing Murphy in the last election, he can't run again, so hope remains that the Republicans can get a candidate with enough appeal to the base & moderate independents to move us to the right side of these issues.

Same crap here in New Mexico. Especially Albuquerque. Police arrest the same criminals every week, over and over again. There is no deterrence for criminal activity, no rehab, no punishment.

It's appalling.

The political elite and their families are shielded and protected from the criminality that the rest of us are exposed to and must live with daily. The more gun crime that exists the greater the chance of advancing their totalitarian agenda. As soon as they've got that agenda realized, they will begin executing those criminals alongside other dissidents, thus creating a political utopia for the elite and a controllable serfdom...

Has any of you representatives offered you a $10,000 grant to increase your security at home like they gave themselves? I doubt it, but they are willing to keep that AR out of your hands so you don't hurt yourself.

Because if the DAs and Judges actually did their job, gun violence would go down and they would lose their narrative for gun control.

So I wonder how may less shootings/murders there would be if they kept those 2,381 locked up? I wonder how many of those 2.381 are repeat arrests of the same people arrested multiple times? But it's the people who legally buy guns and get permits that are the problem....

Chicago Transit Authority vice president of security Kevin Ryan told WBBM that victims fighting back isn't wise:
"What the Chicago police will tell you to do — do not fight back. Be compliant. Do not put yourself in harm's way further."
Ryan told WBBM up to 250 unarmed security guards are patrolling the CTA system daily; the station said the stated goal is to have 300.

"How/why do the residents of NYC put up with the corrupt DAs and Judges who release these criminals? "

Because the "residents" are lazy, complacent and didn't give a s#@t when their mayor and city councils - who the residents elect, if they bothered to vote (see Los Angeles voter non-participation) - declared them "Sanctuary Cities", ok? These residents are, by the way, O'Bama, Hillary and Biden voters! DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR THESE MISGUIDED AND/OR INSANE TURDS!

Besides being Sanctuary Cities, what else of major importance makes these Democrat crap hole cities what they are? After electing losers and suffering thru four years of derelict and irresponsible management of the city and budget, these moron residents "re-elect those very same dirt bags" to another four-year term. Does Bill DeBlasio strike a chord? This is all too common in one-party run states and cities, especially those of Democrat-Liberal persuasion. Kalifornia, Oregon & Washington state, anyone?
