I have a Winchester model 100 that i got from my grandpa that has a casing stuck in the chamber and I was wondering if there was a way to get that out/open

Best way to do that would be to tap it out with a cleaning rod from the muzzle end. Did the ejector/extractor take a bite out of the rim?

If I leave an empty round in my AK chamber the same thing happens, I have to use a cleaning rod, and pull the bolt back at the same time and it usually pops free.

Get a wooden dowel that is close to the diameter of the bore. Insert it into the muzzle and run it down into the casing. Now, either grow an extra set of arms or get someone to help you and pull on the bolt while hammering on the wooden dowel with a rubber mallet. Last time I was involved in one of these problems it took about 1/2 hour of work - yours may go easier - mine was a Barnaul .30-06 casing stuck in my Brother-in-laws J.C. Higgins bolt action.
