Does your employer allow you to carry at work? Do you carry anyway?

What about the parking lot?

Against the rules where I work, technically, its against the rules in the parking lot too, so Im told. but I leave the gun in my truck. My ffl dealer works there too, Ive bought several in the parking lot. We have lots of ccw holders in the plant, my bosses too, we go out and compare our shooters sometimes.

My employer will only allow a razor knife to be carried. No knives or guns in the parking lot or building. You will be fired immediately if you are caught carrying.

Its a shame but I guess I understand why. There are a few of my coworkers that I would not want carrying a sharp stick!!

Not too worried, even the big cheese in our plant is a Kimber man too. Shooters are everywhere 'round here.

+1 on the Kimbers I have a couple of those and love them.

Fierarms are definately not allowed on work premises so even if I lived in another state I could not carry to w--k. I would be dismissed immediately. I do not have an issue with this because there are some people that would worry me to no end if they had a weapon on them.

I have carried everywhere I've worked for over 40 years.

One wouldn't lose one's CCW for carrying against company rules - maybe the job, but not the CCW.

I have had occasion to display my firearm several times.

But that's another story.
