Obtuse question. In the UK one doesn’t get shot but knifed a couple of dozen times to death.
Actually it's a fallacy to think people in the UK don't get shot. While it's certainly not as many as here and yes there are lots of stabbings people do also use guns to murder there. Interestingly enough they have some of the same types of crimes there as here. Young people doing drive by shootings, random shootings etc
Gun control has never equated to lower murder rates in the UK as in most places. The UK like the U.S. has been keeping track of them since around 1900 so it's easy to check. If you notice when they talk about gun control and "gun crime" or "gun murders" they never ever mention murder rates. They will tell you gun crime has been reduced but never mention the murder rates stay the same or even increased. The UK has always had a fairly low murder rate and had fluctuated very little in the 120 years they have been keeping track of it. In fact it's slightly higher now than it was back in the early 1900's but like i said it's always been fairly low ranging from .6 to around 1.6 in the last 120 years. Murder has nothing to do with guns, knives or any other weapon. It has to do with values, drugs, gangs and how people are brought up.

The OP is a troll from the UK who is on at least one other gun forum. He is just here to annoy you.
I don't know about the UK part but you are correct on the troll part.
Thanks.
