I have been waiting for these to go on sale and have just placed my order for one. It will be used this hunting season on a whitetail hunt that I plan on mounting an ATN X-sight on a Tikka T3 via picatinny rail and riser to record the hunt. The scope will add 2.1 pounds to the rifle and this tripod should take to total weight out or the equation.

Great price, I've got this along with the Magnum version of Caldwell's FieldPod and they're both rock solid. These tripods have been the foundation for the demise of countless prairie dogs.
