Neat to resurrect the functionality of those old Bulldogs. One question. Since Pyrodex P is weight equivalent to FFFg, isn't 6.4 g a light load?

Yup.
It was what my custom ammo supplier was offering at the time at a greatly reduced cost. Plus better safe than sorry, the gun is the better part of 140 yrs old and I'm not using it in a competitive way.
