Hello,
I received a gun of my dad's when he passed away in 2014. It's a Browning 270 Safari model I believe and it appears the serial number is L200, at least I am assuming that is the serial number as it is all I see. It has checkered stock and gold on the trigger guard and the clip cover. I assume he purchased it new and he used it deer hunting every year that I can remember through 2013. Every year he would use 2 shells, one at the rifle range, and then one for the deer.
I am trying to find a year of manufacture and any other information on it as well as an insurance value if anyone knows.
Thanks!
Kevin
