i might get one just to test it. i treat mags like crap. i routinely drop them on a concrete floor half loaded when im shooting ipsc. maybe thats why i have 40 mags for my xds

I think the Wilson Combat .45 ACP mags are the best available. Should I revert to carrying my Combat Commander for personal self defense, I'd choose the 7 round versions over the 8 round ones.

I'm just old fashion, I guess, but I believe because of its longer track record that the 7 rounder is the way to go.

I once asked Ken Hackathorn if he had to trust his life and choose one of them over the other, he said he, too, would pick the seven. So, at least I'm in good company when I make that choice.

I am half tempted to try the 1911 A2, 14+1 compacity. I dont know how good they work though. :(

Get Wilson Combat mags. They are the best on the market.

Check out Topgunsupply.com. Very reasonable prices. They also ship your order that day if it is placed before 1500. Very good company to do business with.
