Benelli SBE2 or Browning A5

I am considering selling my like new Benelli SBE2 and buying a Browning A5, specifically the Wicked Wing Model if I can find it. I love the SBE2 but the fact that it does patter high (which is in Benellis design) has always bugged me. I have only taken it dove hunting a couple times and I kill birds just fine. Looking at the Browning, they advertise a 50/50 pattern and I absolutely love the speed load plus feature with the Browning. What is y’all opinion? I just paid $1695 after tax this February so I hope I don’t take too much of a hit if I decide to switch.

If you buy a new gun, use it and sell it within a year.... You're likely going to take a hit.

I'm old school. I've been shooting A5s and Mod 11s my whole life. I don't think I've ever touched a Benelli.

I get it. Though nothing like the original A5, the new ones are very good looking. It's only money. If you you don't buy the A5, it'll only get spent on something stupid like educating the kids or health insurance. ;-)
Like Alan said you're going to take a hit on it unless you can sell it privately for a little under what you paid. A decent gun shop will give you around 60% of value(not what you paid). They may give you a little more being it's not very old as long as it still looks and functions like new and sometime they give more as a trade it because they are making profit on the sale as well. You could always save up for the Browning and keep the Benelli it your wallet allows.
