Im glad i have my MP 15. PSA did not ship my lower yet. At least i can use the lower from the SW. This is posted on PSA'S Site.
Due to pending legislation and until further legal notice, PSA will prioritize & ship All Orders to Washington State.

My last three lowers have come from here. Work fine for me. They do have a "MIM" hammer. No problem as that is what is in the S&W.

My upper came. It's built like a tank! Tomorrow i plan on taking it on it's maiden voyage. My reloads chamber. So i should be good with out a small base die.

I have 122gr Tulammo FMJ, 122gr Red Army FMJ, 123gr Wolf HP and 123 gr PPU FMJ brass cased to try in this heavy barrel upper with 1:10 twist rate.

i need to get an optic on this quickly so I can beat @Coalcracker to the range!

I put a buckmasters on mine. I have it on the SW lower for now. My 10 round mags are straight. Hope it don't cause feed issues. The 20's i got are curved.

All of my 10 rounds are also straight. I don't think they have a curve until after 10 rounds.

I just patched mine. Carbon came out. I looked down the bore i could see the carbon with just a light. So i put some Hoppes elite in. Left it sit for 30 mins. Blue came out too. I hope i didn't get a return. If they test fired. I would think they would clean it.

Quite a few companies test fire an upper before shipping. Not uncommon for me to see with uppers at times. Over the years I have seen a number of cases like that. Some times they throw in an empty casing. But not very often.

The blue you call it is a Parkerized finish on the barrel. First few rounds seem to clean the excess off of the lands a bit.

Had to call BCA… seems they forgot to ship my scope! Had to leave a message… no answer when I called customer service At 2:00 p.m. Will try again tomorrow.

I don’t really want to use MBUS sights (could take off another AR) and don’t really want to take a scope off any other rifle for now.

Haven’t disassembled or cleaned the upper yet


the 10 rd mag I bought does have a curve - it‘s a stainless steel from D&H … if it works well I’ll buy a couple of more

It took awhile for me to through to them yesterday. I was calling to see if i needed to sign for my package. I got the carbon out too.

Im ready to take mine out. Just waiting for it to warm up. Im taking my 223/556 upper along too. I put quick release rings on it. I want to check zero, And i put a sound forwarder on it. So a test run for it.

Well i took it out. Started out at 25 yards, Got it close enough. Then moved to 50 yards. I was using up what S&B i had left. After it was used up. Went my loads. They jammed on the feed ramp. Im going to play with seating depth until i get them to feed.

I have had excellent luck with them! Just clean them good before using them. They can arrive a bit dirty with machining oils and metal shavings.
