Building new ar-15.
I have 5.5 V7 300 blackout barrel.
Won’t fit on barel when putting in with charging handle. My other 556 bcg wont fit either.

Is it bc gas tube is off?

Try putting the charging handle in first, followed by the BCG.

When you installed the barrel nut and lined up the gas tube did you have the bolt in place? If not it is probably off if the bolt goes almost all the way in but falls short a little.

I have built several. I used the adapter to line up the gas tube on the first. Would not line up and the bolt would not go in. Loosened and used the bolt, worked perfect.
When you line up the barrel nut, put the charging handle and bolt in and line ti up that way. The same when you tighten Down the gas block. Should work like a charm.

I am having the same problem my bolt carrier keeps hitting my gas tube.

The gas block could be slightly mis-aligned. Tighten the gas block last, after assuring smooth bolt carrier movement.
