Arkansas has added Alaska, Alabama, Colorado, Kansas, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Virginia and West Virginia to the list of states it will honor.

You can view the whole list at Arkansas State Police

Handgunlaw.us
will be updated shortly to reflect these latest changes.

Welcome to the forum Gary,
Thanks a lot for the update, it' hard to keep up. Since you have a source please condsider compiling a cross index of reciprocal states. We could get the mods to make it a sticky for quick referrence.

Handgunlaw.us belongs to Steve, Jason and I. That is where all the info you need
for info on CCW in all the states can be found. We don't have a chat area and don't really want one as there are enough of them out there now. Since this is a new forum and the Administration has guaranteed me that the Admins will not let the foul language and personel attacks get out of hand. So I have picked 2 sites I like that I will post new information about Reciprocity and major law changes in any of the states on. That is DefensiveCarry.com and this site.

It takes time to build a website. Along with that it takes some dedicated people who put in a lot of hours becasue they wish to help those who need infromation. I think National Gun Forum has what it takes. Only time will tell but during that time I will keep posting info concerning CCW. Have a grat Day and

Well, Gary thank you and the others for the website. I actually had to use it to inform a local cop of what the law is (in Missouri) where to find it.

Excellent website, I'm bookmarking the defensive carry site and look at it later.

My dream is a "sea to shingn sea" drive from the Atlantic to the Pacific and be allowed to carry...

I have never figured out Nevada and Wyoming as to why they don't honor Missouri's permit but they honor others that to me are very lax about requirements. But I lived in Wyoming for 4 years,, and beleive it or not, there is a strain of liberalism in that state is hard to understand..I think it is the result of so many European immigrants late in the 1800s, who did not have to fight everyday for existence like the earlier pioneers.
