You would probably need a farmer hat, work boots and gloves too.

I'm a bit cross at Ben Davis in their offerings of overalls. They don't have blue denim, brown, tan, khaki or pinstripe. Just black bibs or white for pairs and carpenters. The black bibs would look nice with a red plaid flannel shirt or a red plaid Pendleton wool shirt, though. This outfit might also look dressy on a black mount, American Quarter or Morgan horse, with black tack and bridle, black saddle, red saddle blanket and an Amish farm hat for deer hunters. How about a black Indiana Jones hat? I just can't see hunter orange going with this kind of riding habit.

I have worn coveralls on horseback, I wouldn't go out of my way. I with Kilted about getting cowboyed up, but if I want to ride around the farm, it's what I have on.

I prefer girls with nice boobs to wear bib overalls (and nothing else)... :cornut:
I tend to think of overalls as male clothing. I was asking the same question over at a horsemanship website and the consensus of folks there say bibs in the saddle is a real no-no. They claim this garment lacks room and flexibility for riding. I'm sure some overalls have a looser fit than others. I guess cowboy garb, not farmer garb, goes better on horses.

Would cammie fatigues be good for a mounted hunter?

I've ridden horses wearing about everything you can imagine.....if you enjoy having your cods or enjoy super atomic wedgies then skip the overalls. They just aren't cut right in the crotch area for that sort of thing....That said I've seen it done plenty of times by old timers around here, but it defiantly wasn't for me.

Off topic...
At a Booger Barter roping in Durant Oklahoma, (when the casino still had a indoor roping arena) they offered my buddy $200 to team rope the whole day in his underwear....not one to pass up money or a challenge he accepted...everyone got a kick out of it and he got $200 IIRC..
