Ibelieve you will find the same situation with most brands. Most dealers thoughtit was bad before despite manufacturers working around the clock, to get piecesand parts. Demand is monstrous. On Black Friday, 154,000 background checks wereperformed by the folks at NICS.
AR-15is made to a MIL Spec and parts are standardized (though I understand the argumentof keeping with one manufacturer). Search the internet for AR-15 parts or kitsand lock in a purchase.
