Does N.E one collect Brass,Shot shells,Paper(Black Powder)what ever,Im looking at starting a collection ?

I've got a case of Black Talon in 9mm, a set of one of every caliber in Black Talon.

I'm looking to getting into ammo, any suggestions you can give will be appreciated. I don't wnat to rush off helter skelter without a plan. I like to concentrate to enhance my collection.
ie, I want to have a goal in mind

I have go a case of winchester 12 gauge from th 50's, I am afraid to shoot them.

I Know this...N.E rare brass or what ever ur into(win 12ga from the 50s ) pick a subject that interests U i.e Big game cal. 4 me but I have some .303 fmj rounds from early 1900s looking to xpand!!

Dude...metal piercing rounds in .38! that is ! whats the ballistics on those things? gota be Depleted Uranium ! seriously what are the bullet weights and construct?

Those rounds are old, I've only got 6. The box was in my Grandfather's gun room. He passed away about 8 years ago. There's not a date on the box that I can find. I havent shot any, Just hanging on to them for collecting.
