Any Info On project Appleseed?

I've heard they're a solid choice in terms of rifle training but the scheduling on their website is pretty chaotic so I'm not sure how good they really are. Any good/bad stories would be appreciated. Also I heard they're really into history-what does that mean exactly?

Here's the website: https://appleseedinfo.org

Thanks!

Site works good for me. Just checked my states schedule. Pretty straight forward. Hear good talk about it on FB.
Events for the State of NewJersey
There are no events currently scheduled for NewJersey.
Check back in a few weeks as events may be added.

I filed for a pistol purchase permit on 9/6 and haven’t gotten it yet. Thank God there’s no waiting period.

The guys on the M1 Garand site I am on seem to like it.
I have no firsthand knowledge
It's pretty good. They go through the basics and have you shoot from different positions. There are timed exercises. You will need a .22LR rifle (ideally a Ruger 10/22) with at least a 10 round magazine and a couple hundred rounds of 22LR ammo. You will also need to be somewhat physically fit to do the exercises, there you have to change shooting positions during the exercises.
