Hello all - I recently found a 30.06 cartridge on my property in northern Minnesota with a metal detector. It's very old, has a full metal jacket and the base is stamped with STM4. I haven't been able to identify the manufacturer online. Any ideas?

Can you post a picture of the headstamp? The single 4 possible indicates manufacture
in 1944. STM is a bit of a puzzler. Welcome to the forum.

Most likely foreign. My best guess is French. (France)
