for storing my ammunition. Right now I store it in typical green metal army issued ammunition boxes.

I am thinking about something a little more harmless looking, but still does the job. I was wondering about the Igloo ice chests. They are solid and fairly waterproof - providing you close the plug at the bottom.

I'm not looking to fool the police (as though an officer wouldn't look in a chest because he thought there were only baloney sandwiches in there). I'm more or less just looking to lower my profile when moving or if I have people in the house.

Any thoughts or comments on the ice chest? Guess I could keep a couple of beers in there as well if the SHTF. Ha.

How about a dry box, looks like a tackle books to most.
