Does the T/C Encore require specific torque on fore end screws, and action bolt? I was thinking around 35 inch pounds on all three. Is that about right? Bill from Colorado City

Well, today I finally had a chance to take my new Encore Rifle down. It seemed like T/C had around 10 inch/pounds on the forend screws, and about 20 inch/pounds on the stock bolt. I reassembled the stock/action with about 20 inch/pounds, and 15 inch/pounds on the forend. That felt right. Since the forend floats below the barrel, it may not be critical. I just got out of the hospital, and I'm just trying to do what I can to get this new .308 ready to go, when I can go to the range. I mounted a 3X9 Leupold on the rifle today. This weapon has a good comfortable feel to it.
