In about two weeks (gunshop owner /armorer is on vacation :( ) I will buy a suppressor for one of my two 9mm handguns. As far as I know I can use the same suppressor for any 9mm pistol. But of course I have to buy a threaded barrel for each pistol I want to attach it to.

I initially wanted a barrel for the Glock 17. I don't really know why, I just think it fits better. Probably because it's a more modern pistol :?

But I'm in doubt now. I like the Browning HP more every day... Is there any reason why the Glock would be better suited for a suppressor?

PS: I don't know if "suppressor" or "silencer" is the right term, I just know the German word "Schalldämpfer"

My dealer told me that it's sometimes a PITA to import firearms stuff from the US (and from Switzerland for that matter). He can get the barrels more easily in Austria. And the suppressor in France. But thanks anyway ;)
