i am thinking of buying a 87 browning a bolt 270win. at the local shop. guy is telling me that it has a sako action because of some lines made in the bolt. i thought that all the sako actions were short action only. anyone have any info?:4:

Sako short and medium actions were used to build some Browning FN High-Power rifles. This stopped in 1974.

Browning rifles manufactured in 1987 were the A-Bolt Model I series. They were all manufactured By Miroku, in Japan.
